Class is Full - Dear Jane Quilt Along
Have you heard all the rage about Dear Jane? For seasoned and newbie quilters alike, the mention of "Dear Jane" elicits reactions ranging from joy to dismay. Why? The Dear Jane quilt is comprised of 225 patterns! They are 169 square blocks and 52 pieced border triangles.
The original quilt was made by Jane Stickle in 1863 without a corresponding pattern. The beauty of the quilt is not only in the blocks themselves but the layout and the ability to play with print and color.
Join Shirley Deasy on the Dear Jane journey. She will share techniques to make everything approachable, enjoyable and fun process. In this class you will learn hand and machine piecing, paper piecing, and a number of applique methods. She will discuss fabric selection and supplies that are required or optional. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, sharing ideas, techniques and solving problems! Classes will be instructional only and are themed by technique, so even if you've taken a Dear Jane class previously, this is an opportunity for a refresh and learn new techniques to complete your Dear Jane.
Purchases made the day of class will receive a 20% discount.
